Alexis Ong is a freelance journalist based in Singapore who covers games, science fiction, weird tech, and internet culture. Soft spots include internet archaeology, cats, gross historical food, and 90s/00s pop culture; when it comes to games, she enjoys old janky adventures, MMOs and mystery/detective-themed visual novels. She has a B.A. in Political Science from Tufts University and got her M.F.A. in writing at the Savannah College of Art and Design. In past lives she’s been a music journalist, a West Hollywood gym owner, and a professional TV watcher (among many other things).
