Kazuma Hashimoto is a cultural critic that has worked within the games industry at large for upwards of six years, and was nominated for the New York Videogame Critics Circle’s Games Journalism Award in 2019. Consulting and writing on various AAA projects, his experience spans through different fields in video games. Using his proficiency with the Japanese language, he has translated interviews with notable developers from Square Enix, PlatinumGames, and more. When he isn’t writing features for the likes of Polygon and IGN, he streams a variety of games on Twitch, ranging from survival horror titles to ARPGs and farming sims, as a VTuber.
